Veegeo designed a corrosion barrier for the first Trias Westland doublet. This barrier consists of a protective liner of Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE). Subsequently, we selected qualified contractors and suppliers and supervised its installation in the wells. For the first time in The Netherlands almost 5000 m of GRE tubes have been installed into a doublet. As part of the production team we currently monitor the performance and integrity of the wells during the production phase. The sustainable heat produced by this geothermal operation is transported to a large amount of horticulture companies via an extensive heat network.
