Throughout the year Veegeo is responsible for geothermal production support for eight doublets: Trias Westland I & II (Naaldwijk), Nature’s Heat (Kwintsheul), Wayland Energy (Bergschenhoek), Aardwarmte Vierpolders (Brielle), Haagse Aardwarmte Leyweg (The Hague), Greenbrothers (Zevenbergen) and Duurzaam Voorne (Voorne-Putten). For each of these doublets we monitor the well integrity as well as the performance of the reservoir and surface facilities. We analyse the production data and aim to optimize well production by installing early mitigation measures for issues such as scaling, injection blockage, corrosion, and microbiology. The safety and integrity of the wells is insured by our own developed “Wells Integrity Management System” (WIMS). Furthermore, our geothermal production team is the first contact for the local plant manager to troubleshoot problems such as ESP trips, filters blockage, or unexpected pressure measurements. As all these projects have location-specific characteristics (different reservoir formations, well completions, production water properties, surface facilities, etc.), supporting these projects significantly contributes to broadening our geothermal exploitation expertise.
